Coopers Hawk captured at Gunnison Chapel released

The Coopers hawk that was trapped in Gunnison Chapel on the St. Lawrence University for a whole week was released today.  We caught the bird on 21 January 2013 and she was released today (3 February).  The bird was taken to the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge for the past 2 weeks to regain its strength and gain some weight.  The bird was released at the Visitor Interpretive Center at Paul Smiths College in the northern Adirondacks.
